Urban Chic - London Christmas Fun - Ice Skating

We at Urban Chic love a Christmas blog, so thought we would update you on the most Christmassy things to do in London for the run up to Christmas 2018!

Ice Skating

There are a few fabulous pop up ice rinks neighbouring some of the city’s most beautiful landmarks. These are the Chic approved places to visit;

 

Natural History Museum ice skating

Situated on the grounds of one of the most beautiful buildings in London, is this magical ice rink. Located in South Kensington (30 seconds from Urban Chic – Queens Gate) and just a 3 minutes’ walk from South Kensington Tube Station.

Somerset House ice skating

Have a lovely hot chocolate in the Fortnum & Mason alpine lodge on site then go for a glide. This magical ice rink is located in the courtyard of the wonderful Somerset House.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland ice skating

We will write more on winter wonderland later, but if you are visiting Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, then skating is a must. Nestled in the centre of this amazing attraction surrounded by the sounds, smells and sights of Christmas is the wonderful Ice Rink.
