Hutong is a restaurant located on the 33rd floor of The Shard. The restaurant has panoramic views over the city creating an incredible backdrop to your dining experience. The location of the restaurant means that you do end up paying slightly more for the stunning views, however what does that matter when the food is excellent too? Take your loved one with you to this restaurant and be sure to book a table by the window. The stunning city lights in the evening and the clear view of the city in the daylight make it the perfect place for a date, be it lunchtime or dinner. At Bob Bob Ricard, they provide a glamorous all-booth dining experience where you can sit in two-person booths (or in a bigger booth as a group) while enjoying your meal. The food both looks and tastes superb which may be something that is expected from a restaurant of this caliber but it’s particularly good at this restaurant and therefore still very much worth a mention. The décor is brilliantly unique with gold, marble and crystal decorations surrounding the blue leather dining booths. One thing that makes this restaurant stand out from the crowd (apart from the brilliantly unique décor) is the fact that every single table has a gold champagne buzzer. Once you press this button, you will have a bottle of bubbles delivered to your table – the perfect surprise for a loved one! The house cocktail, which is a rhubarb gin and tonic, comes highly recommended as an aperitif. There is a bar area downstairs where you can enjoy a drink either after a meal or if you just want to pop by for a nice refreshing cocktail. The staff are extremely welcoming and attentive – making it an all-round enjoyable experience.
